Media assessment 1: learner response

  1)  Type up your feedback in  full  (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential). I got 5/30 and a grade 2. 2) Question 1 and 2 no marks. Question 3 2/12 marks and Question 4 2/2. Question 5 1/6 and Question 6 is 0/8. 3) Q4 was my strongest question as I collected all the marks for that question. 4)My weakest one was Q6 as I  didn't mention anything that was on the mark scheme. 5) Beyoncé is in an appealing outfit and the lighting makes  her standout compared to what is  happening in the background. The colour scheme  of red is linked to romance and passion.

 1)   camera shot Two shot: two people in the shot to usually show there expressions or they both as important in that scène  2) camera shot  closeup: To show the face of the character emotional face to add emotions to the scene  3) angle God view: a angle above the person meaning something about to happen 4)camera shot long shot: it shows what props and the background of the main character                5)  mise-en-scene: the clothing there wearing are formal suggesting something serious happening

Mise-en-scene

  Costume: The character at the start is wearing a white lab coat. This suggests to the audience he a scientist. The clothes the actors wear are in the 80s style. Props: there was a white pizza box in the basement. There also a game board. The kids uses there bikes to get to there home. The props suggest they were have a game night. Lighting: in the beginning the light flicking suggesting something unnatural might have going on. in the end we see a figure in the shadow standing there. The lighting is to make contrast in the show.

Denotation and connotation

  Analysis: The poster has a phrase "Dig toilets Not graves" could imply there are struggling and are in poverty.  Denotation:  The poster has a child with him being in a third world country with WaterAid at the top suggesting they don't receive enough water.   Connotation: This advert might have been to raise awareness on kids in third country not being as a fortunate at people in first world country's.
